Thanksgiving Weekend, update, and mail!!!

Hey Everyone,
Its been a long time but finally able to put something up today. I have been kinda busy with school and its almost the end of the year again and i have about 9 more months til im done with school yay!!! So anyways my Thanksgiving weekend was good i had relatives from Colorado, San Diego, and Tennessee over at my cousins house next door so i slept over there for a while until they all left. I had fun we went to Monterey and San Francisco for a while. We went to the mall on Black Friday but didnt buy anything cuz i dont like shopping when theres mad crazy shoppers out there trying to get the same thing you want. But i have bought so much stuff for myself though that im still going shopping for myself. lol Yeah i spoil myself too much but i have new clothes and new jeans from Forever and A'Gaci in Great Mall. But love my jeans i only spent $20.87 on 2 pairs of jeans which was $9.50 each can you believe that? Really good deal right?
So anyways an update about me is just same ol' stuff. I started a new class which is my upper division class called Integrated Business Topics and im glad im done with Microeconomics. Didnt like Microeconomics that much but im glad that class is over with. Im still (but not trying) to look for a new job. And i guess thats all for updates on me.
So yesterday i got something in the mail from BF-Beauty.com and they gave me 1 Nail stickers. I mean i wish they gave me more than just one for my 10 fingers but they are cute. So I just want to thank them for the free gift they got me it was so not expected and i love it. Well that is all for now so will write more later.

Just a Blog About My Life

So i just feel like writing something since i haven't written anything in here in a while since my last one. And today is not about makeup or fashion. I have been having so many things going on in my mind right now that i feel like i cant think. So i never told u guys about my life or whats going on in my life so here it is. Ive been focusing on school and doing my best to work hard in my online classes and also thinking of finding a new job or an internship. But this isnt what has been on my mind for a while, it is actually about a guy i like.

So there is this guy that i started liking and ive known him for almost 3 yrs now. I started liking him about a few months ago when we started hanging out with each other. I met him from a co-ed fraternity that i joined in 2006 from my old school called Alpha Phi Omega. During that time i didnt really think about liking him even though my preference in guys is white guys. I have liked white guys since high school. And i actually had my very first boyfriend in 2007. Yeah its a shocker that i just had my first bf when i was 25. So i had been a virgin for a long time. lol

Well anyways we probably hung out once or twice but with a group of friends but not really just the two of us. And by the way for privacy reasons im not going to say what his name is. So anyways just the beginning of summer of this year was when i started to like him. We went out on our first date on June 20. I remember the date since that was my friends birthday and i told her that i couldnt go to her birthday thing because i was hanging out with someone that day. So me and him (lets just call him Drew lol) went to watch a movie and then had some ice cream and then drove around. I remember before i left my house i told my cousin how nervous i was and she even said that she was nervous for me lol.

And then July 15 was the last time i saw him. He was having a going away dinner with just a couple of close friends and invited me. So i show up late because i didnt know what time he was getting off of work on Wednesday and i just came from church that day. Everyone was already finished eating so they were all just chatting at the table. I grabbed a chair and sat right next to him. We talked and then i started texting him. So i told him how i was going to miss him and he told me that he was going to miss me also. And also told me how he was jealous when i started going out with my first boyfriend. For me it was a shocker because i didnt know that anyone else liked me besides my boyfriend at the time. My boyfriend and I were only together for 2 months so during the breakup i was depressed, so depressed that i felt like i didnt want to live anymore. So when "Drew" told me that he was jealous of my boyfriend and i going out, he also told me how excited he was to go on a date with me which i thought was really cute and sweet.

Oh yeah he had a going away dinner because he was moving to Connecticut for his job. And that is where the main company is. So ever since then i have been missing him like crazy like hes always on my mind. But luckily i can still focus on school even though im thinking about him so much lol. Well during the couple of weeks that he has been there, he asked me if im going to visit him and when im going to visit him. I told him that i would love to visit him but maybe in December because that is when im on vacation.

And for the first few weeks that hes been there ive been texting him and asking him how he is and how work is and he would respond back to me. But now i hardly text him because sometimes he doesnt text back to me. I mean i know that we arent going out but im just hoping that he doesnt meet anyone like a girl and that doesnt leave me hanging. So there are two reasons why i think hes probably not responding to my texts or even calling me. One of the reasons i think is that he probably met someone thats why hes been ignoring my text. And another reason is maybe he doesnt want to always tell me what hes doing or how hes doing because he wants to tell me when he sees me again so that he has something to tell me when hes here. So those are the things that have been going through my mind right now. So every night i have been praying and i am hoping that the second reason is why he hasnt been texting me back.

So i hope that I didnt bore you from my long story. That is all for now until next time...

Clothing Haul

Hey Everyone,
Its been a long time i know but today i have a clothing haul that i would like to share with you guys that i bought yesterday. So yesterday i shopped at Forever 21 and bought 3 things. At first i wasnt planning on buying anything and i was just thinking of trying these clothes out but then afterwards i was like i wanted them and plus they weren't expensive and were at a good price.

So the first thing that i bought was a jacket.
This is a nice casual wear jacket and the color is olive like a greenish color. They have other colors besides this like black and i forgot what the other colors that they had. This was pretty cheap and most of the jackets there are like $20 something but this was only $19.50 which is pretty good for a nice casual jacket.

The next item that i bought was a knit top.
Now this is a nice casual top that you can wear out to a party or even for church. I love this shirt even if it looks plain it still looks nice because below the neck line there is a design. You can wear this with dark jeans and also with leggings. This shirt was only $19.80 which is also a pretty good price for a nice top like this.

The next item that i bought is a teal woven top.
This is a cute teal woven top that you can wear with nice pants for either a business attire or even for church. I thought that this top was really cute even though it looks plain. This shirt cost $9.50 only. Now this is a good deal for a top like this. You can wear this for any occasion. So this is all that i wanted to share with you all. So hopefully the next thing on my shopping list would be boots so if i find any cute ones i will let you guys know.

Asprin Mask Challenge

Hey Everyone!!! It has been a long time but i actually feel like doing a blog today. So my face has gotten worse like my acne is not going away so i decided to try Michelle Phan's DIY: Asprin Mask. I went to Target today and bought Asprin and Honey. So i am starting this today and im going to be doing this twice a week. If i do this more than twice a week then my skin will grow tolerant to the mask. I will let you all know how my face is going as it progresses. So these are the products that i used:


I used non coated asprin like this. This brand is from Target and i am not sure if it is a Target brand but it says some other brand called up&up.











And then i used pure honey.














As you guys can see, my face is not looking so nice and flawless. Ive had this acne problem for maybe about a month already and im thinking that its because of stress. I mean it doesnt seem like i stress out in school since im only taking one class. But hopefully this Asprin mask will work. So this is how i made the Asprin mask:

1) You add 3 tablets and place them into a bowl or plate.












2) Then you add 1 or 2 teaspoons of water. Here i added 2 teaspoons which i think is too much because now it is a little bit watery. You want your mixture to be grainy.










3) Then you add 2 squirts of honey and then mix the ingredients together.













4) Then you evenly spread the mixture onto your face and leave it on for about 10-15 min. And then wash your face. Your skin should be feeling soft afterwards. (Yeah my face is really horrifying with out makeup on).









So i will let you know if this stuff really works and hopefully it will. But i will let you know how it goes every month to see if there are any changes in my skin.

E.L.F. brushes

So just last month i bought 6 brushes from E.L.F. cosmetics. And those are the brushes that i got above. I havent washed them yet and they are still in the package shown in the picture above cuz i wanted to show you guys while its still in the package on youtube. This brings me to what im going to say next and its about me not being able to upload or put videos up. For some reason my videos have been taking so long now to upload and it just sucks because when im excited that i want to show you my haul i really cant because its just taking so long so im going to find out and hopefully i can let you guys know.

So back to my brushes. So the first brush that i got was an eyelash and eye brow wand and this is basically good to fix your eyebrows and to make your eyebrows nice and neat. The second brush that i got was a defining eye brush and this is good for defining your crease and creating an outer-v. The next brush i got was an eye shadow brush which is really big and good for people with large eyes, you can use this brush to apply a highlight. The i got a lip defining brush and this would be good to use for lipstick application but is also good for applying eyeshadow on the lower lash line for a perfect finish. Next brush i got was the concealer, now this brush is smaller than a normal concealer brush and would be harder to apply concealer on blemishes or red spots. This brush is applied best also for the lower lash line for a perfect application. And the last brush that i got was the blending eye brush. This round brush is good for highlighting, also for creating a crease, and for blending.

I do recommend buying these brushes even though i haven't used it yet but they are great because they all cost a dollar. So if you are looking for affordable brushes go to www.eyeslipsface.com.

Lipstick Haul

Hey Everyone!!! So im starting to get into light nude pinkish lipsticks. So i went to the mall trying to find lipsticks that were cheaper than what i would get online. I went to this store called INVU (pronounced I envy you) and found 2 lipsticks that i liked. It wasnt part of my list of round lipsticks that i wanted but i liked it. So one is called Honey which is a nice light brown color and the other one is strawberry milk which is a nice light pink color. I was still on my search for finding more NYX lipsticks and went to CVS (which was longs drugs) and found 2 Rimmel Lipsticks: one called vintage which is like a rosie color and crush which is like a peachy color and the Rimmel lipsticks were both 50% off. Then i got 2 NYX Diamond Sparkle lipgloss: Pink sparkle which is a vibrant pink and Beige sparkle which is a nice brown color. Sadly the NYX Lipglosses were not on sale but at least i got a good price for all of them. The NYX lipsticks that i got from INVU cost $1.99 which is a good price compared to online at Cherryculture.com which cost 2 dollars. So its almost the same price. I wasnt able to do any swatches from my camera but i have swatches on my video that i did. So below is all the lipglosses and lipsticks that i got.

Flat Iron Purchase and other stuff

So like what i said before that i was going to try to post blogs on here when i cant post videos or when i dont have time or when im lazy to post videos. But i will try to post videos up again. What to do on a saturday morning or actually afternoon now. I have finished washing my loads of laundry and done with changing my bed sheets (which i do every saturday morning). Well right now im supposed to be doing my essay but i wanted to check my emails and messages on myspace and stuff on youtube and so i just got super lazy.
Well i was in my search for a new flat iron because my flat iron that i have right now does not work that well for flyaways. I bought a Hot Tools flat iron cuz i wanted to go cheap and didnt have that much money but i realized that if you buy a expensive one then its worth the money because of course it works very well on your hair and you dont have to straighten the same part of your hair so many times. With my Hot tools flat iron i had to straighten the same part of my hair so many times that sometimes it doesnt straighten that well. So i went to this site which i found from pursebuzz.com's youtube channel called stylebell.com. This flat iron that i got was way cheaper than beautychoice.com's flat iron that i wanted, a chi brand, which was like a hot pink color that comes with a travel bag to put the flat iron in. So the price for the Chi pink flat iron with travel bag at beautychoice.com cost $124.95 and at stylebell.com cost $105.95 (better price right?). So i just ordered one today and will take 3-5 business days so im really looking forward to getting it soon. So i will let you guys know how long it took for it to arrive.
Also i got a card from victoria's secret for a free mini very sexy mascara. I am very excited to be getting that on tuesday. I have never used any of their makeup except for their lip glosses so i look forward to trying this one out. So yeah this one doesnt come out til January 13 thru i think February 15 so if you guys have one of these cards make sure you guys go to the store right away to purchase a free mascara.
Well for now this will be all but i will be updating you more on the flat iron when i receive it and also the mascara so stay tuned...

New Hair cut, Mini Haul, and Review

Hey Everyone!!! So starting the new year i got a new hair cut. I wanted a more layered look but then this style that i have i got from one of the hair cut books at the salon. Hope you guys like the new look for now. I might end up cutting it again in 2 months when im going to get a trim lol. So anyways below is a before and after picture of my hair. So now my hair is mostly my original color black and i dont have that much hair dye on my hair.















After I got my hair cut i went to target and bought 2 brushes from Sonia Kashuk. One is the contour brush and the other one is the flat synthetic blush brush. These brushes are very cheap if you are looking for brushes that are not that expensive. From reviews that I have seen on youtube they are really good brushes to work with.


Lastly, someone asked a question on my very first haul video on the make up remover that I bought online and So the question was if the make up remover works and if you only use it for the eyes. The answer to the questions is that yes i think it does work a lot and i recommend buying this because it really removes a lot of makeup and it is not only for the eyes but for the entire face. But just adding 2 pumps of the makeup remover onto your cotton pad and it removes instantly. So for me I would give it 5 stars i love the makeup remover a lot.

Sorry No Tutorials For a While...

Sorry everyone that i havent been able to do any tutorials...I have just been taking a break and just studying how other guru's do their makup...And i have been really lazy too...I have also been so addicted to Twilight that i bought all 3 of the books...i will buy the 4th one after im almost done with the 3rd book...ive been trying to save money too so i havent bought a any makeup lately...tomorrow i start school which sucks but luckly i dont have to drive anywhere and its just in the convenience of my home online...tomorrow i am planning on cutting my hair...i will show you guys a before and after picture and im really looking forward to cutting my hair...i decided to make it different than how i usually cut my hair...not to short or not to long like up to my shoulders but just a little bit that it wouldnt be too much...im excited...i think that my bangs are just a little too long now...well i guess that would be all for now so i will talk to u guys later...

Cosmo's Sexiest Beauty Secrets Book

Hey Everyone!!! I finally got my Cosmo's sexiest beauty secrets book which was recommended my many guru's and I saw this book from fafinettex3's video on her collective haul. So i got this from Amazon.com and got it from GreatBookDeals.com. Let me just tell you all that i ordered this book at the last week of November and they told me that they were gonna start shipping it to me between December 4th-19th. I did not like it at all because it just took way too long for them to send it. The last order that I got from Amazon.com was the R4 for DS and the person who was going to send it said that they were gonna start sending it asap and i was really happy that it came right on time and fast. But i was just so upset with the amount of time that GreatBookDeals.com had for sending my book. I mean come on now is it really necessary to be shipping the book so late when i ordered it in November? But anyways i got it in good condition so im happy for that and I skimmed through the book and there are a lot of stuff to know about the face, skin, nails, hair, eyes and lips. I am loving the book. So here is the picture of what it looks like if you all want to buy it. Just don't buy it from the same people i got it from.

My Everyday Look

So i tried putting my video on my everyday look on youtube but then after it finished it said that there was some kind of error and im like wats the error? sometimes my video goes through and sometimes it doesnt and it really pisses me off wen i cant get my videos up. i cant even post my pictures with my video because then it will say that there is an error and im like what? so i dont know if i need to get a new windows movie maker or what. its just so irritating sometimes. I dont want to download anything rite now cuz im scared my computer is just gonna crash again for the 3rd time. This laptop that im using rite now is actually my second laptop because my first laptop crashed and so i sent it to the Philippines to get it fixed by my uncle i think but then never heard from it again. My mom was the one who gave it to him so maybe someone has it now. Oh well i like the laptop that im using. So anyways this is what i used for my everyday look in order i applied makeup:

Pink and Grey Smokey Eye

Hey Everyone!!! So i finally posted my first makeup tutorial and im very excited that i finally was able to put a video up.
