Mini Hauls

So I have a little time on my hands since school started so thats why I havent been able to write in here a lot. But right now since im not doing anything i decided to show you a little haul that i got. I got coupons 2 weeks ago from Longs for the Rimmel Cosmetics and so i decided to buy eyeshadow. I bought 2 kinds cuz if you buy one, you get the other one for free. So I decided to get 2 colors that I dont have yet. The one on the left is called steamy and the one on the right is called naughty. Ive tried the colors but not that much but I just love them cuz they are bright.

Another thing that i want to show is this lip balm that i got from my friend for my bday. Well it was actually one of the things that she gave me for my bday. But She gave me this tinkerbell lip balm and I love it so much. Im a big fan of tinkerbell. I have a lot of tinker bell stuff and i think i already told you guys already. I have a tinkerbell blanket, tinkerbell placemat, tinkerbell sign, tinkerbell poster, and many more and more to come.

Start of online class

Sorry I haven't posted any blogs in a while I've been busy with my online class. I just started my online class at the University of Phoenix on Tuesday. Each class that I take at University of Phoenix are 5 weeks long, 4 days a week. So far it's been good haven't gotten stressed out yet. So on Tuesday was the first day of class we had to attach our autobiography to our teacher and also the students can see what you have written too. And we have a couple of assignments that are due for the week but they are not that hard. Hopefully I won't be stressing too much. But my goals is to get though this 5 weeks of class and also this year. I don't remember if I told you guys what my major is but it's Business Administration with a concentration on Human Resources. I'm very excited and hopefully I will focus on my studies. So if you don't hear from me in a while it's because I am busy with class. But I will try to come in here and let you know how I am doing.

What I Got From The Philippines

I haven't written in my blog for a while cuz i was so busy and also my mom was home so i didnt have anytime to go on and write anything. So as I told you before, my mom and her brothers and sisters and my cousins went back to the Philippines for my grandfathers funeral. I didn't go cuz I didn't have any money and because of work. So aside from that my mom and my cousins got me some souvenirs. My mom got me a scarf, slippers, and loreal lipstick (smells fruity) and my cousin got me a Pink Lacoste purse with a phone charm and 3 pairs of underwear (not in the picture).

My New Hair Cut. Plus Blue Makeup

So I finally got my hair cut today and it was something that i wanted like before. Im going to make sure that I get a hair cut every 2 months. I think that short looks good on me dont you think?

Along with this I also did my make up and i tried doing a blue smokey eye look. So hopefully you guys like it cuz i like it both. All I used for my eyes was the Cover Girl eye enhancers in different shades of blue. There are 4 different colors and one of them looks like a light green color. I used 3 out of the four colors. For My Inner eye I used a hint of the light green color and then for my crease and outer lid I used the darker shade of color. Hopefully u guys can see the colors in my eyes sorry about my camera.

Friday Is My Day!!!

I love Fridays!!! Not only because it's close to the weekend but also because I don't work on fridays. Well tomorrow nite my cousins are having a ladies nite. So me and other women like her friends are going to watch a movie that is coming out tomorrow called The Women. The Women is like a Sex in the City or a Waiting to Exhale kind of movie thing. I'm excited and I can't wait to watch it tomorrow nite.

Also tomorrow I am thinking of cutting my hair how it was before just maybe an inch off. It's not to short or not to long so I'm pretty excited about that also. Ive been wanting to cut my hair for a while now since its been bothering me that my bangs are getting to long and also people like my hair short than long because they say that I look more mature and older. I think my profile picture shows how I want my hair to look like.

So today I was looking in the Longs Drugs ad and found 2 savings coupons on makeup one is Rimmel and the other one is Revlon. For the Rimmel, you can get any of the cosmetics and its a buy one get one free deal so its a coupon I cannot refuse. For the Revlon, its only lipstick or lip gloss so im going to look at those to see if theres anything good and its also a buy one, get one free coupon. So if you guys have Longs Drugs ads or any kind of ads make sure you check out the good deals that they might have in there. Last week I also got to coupons from the same ad and one was buying anything from the H.I.P. collection and N.Y.C. They were also the same offer too if you buy one, you get one free. Well the coupons that I got in the mail today are good until 9/20 so don't miss out in any of them.

My Skincare

So a long time ago I used Proactive but didn't stay with the product for a long time. Maybe I tried it for a week or so and then that was it. For me, it didn't go well on my face, it really dried up my skin and I guess thats how it is supposed to work but then I just felt like I couldn't move my face at all because it felt as if I was wearing a mask or something. So then after that I think my parents took me to a dermatologist and they gave me some acne solution to use for my face and I used it for a while then after that I stopped using it because my pimples just kept on coming back and I didnt like it. Then I started using Neutrogena and St. Ives and Clean and Clear and some would work for a while then my pimples would just come back.

Recently I started using Clinique and how I got into using Clinique was by a video that I watched by stephie on Youtube. I liked watching her makeup tutorials and I wanted to know what kind of face wash that she uses for her face so then when i saw a video on her skincare I was like I think I want to try that too. But then of course her skin and my skin are completely different and I usually break out like crazy.

So anyways when I went to The Clinique booth in the mall they asked me about my skin type and recommended me to use the Clinique 3 step acne solution. So when I started using it on the first 2 weeks of buying it, it just dried my face like crazy so then I had to stop using it. Then I started using it every other day and I needed something to use on the days that i dont use Clinique. So then I started using Olay gentle foaming face wash with aloe for sensitive skin. And ive been having good results. My pimples and blemishes are decreasing and it doesn't overdry my skin at all.

So on days that I use the Clinique I used the 3 step acne solution and also use Mac Fix+ after toning and before moisturizing. And then on the days I don't use Clinique I use the Olay. So hopefully this will help anyone who has sensitive skin like mine.

First Makeup Job on Cousin

So today my cousin sent me a text and was like "can you do my eyes?" and i was like "um ok" She was like "yeah so that you can actually practice on somebody". After she came from church I went to the mall with her and then after, that was when I went and did her eyes. I had to figure out what I wanted to put on her and so I asked her what she was going to be wearing cuz shes planning on going to San Francisco tonite. She wanted some black and some pink so I put some back and some pink. So anyways for my first makeup job this is the outcome.




So for her eyes I used the Urban Decay SmashBox and Mabelline New York expertwear eyeshadow. I just used the neutral color for the base and for the whole lid. For the crease and the outer part of the lid I applied UD SmashBox oil slick and for 3/4 of her lid i used grifter. Well I hope that you guys like it. Hopefully that I can get better in doing this to myself and do it on other people too.
