First Time For Makeup Compliments

So yesterday it was my borders bday and she had a party here at home. (For those of you guys who don't know what a border is it's someone who rents a room at your house). So I didnt know what to wear so I just wore this brown shirt that I bought from H&M. When it comes to clothes, i always want to match my makeup with what I am wearing so in this case I used shades of browns for my eyeshadow. I guess I would have to call what I did a Brown Smokey Eye look.

So anyways my aunt saw my makeup and she was like "wow I like how you did your makeup, you should do that all the time." And I was like wow really! thanks. lol My cousin thought I did a good job too and also wanted me to do it on her too but then she didn't want to anymore. So yeah I'm proud of myself. Some people would ask me " where are you going? You look so nice today." Well what I wear is usually my everday wear and look, so I mean even though I don't go anywhere sometimes, I still wear makeup.

So this is what i used on me to get this look:

Face:
Clinique 3 step Acne solutions
MAC Select SPF 15 Foundation NC40 (Liquid)
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural (Medium Plus) (Use on top of liquid foundation)
Bare Minerals Warmth (Used for my cheeks)
Fix + (set)

Eyes:
UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) (as the Base)
Maybelline Expert Wear Eye Shadow Quads (Designer Chocolates)
MAC Eyeliner Gel Blitz Glitz (eyeliner)
Cover Girl Lashblast Waterproof
Ardell Brow Defining Powder mink brown
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel

Lips:
MAC Lip Glass Brown Color (smells like chocolate)

Brushes Used:
MAC #129 SH Powder/Blush Brush (Used for Warmth)
Bare Escentuals Flawless Application Face Brush (Used for MAC Skinfinish)
Michael's 3/4 Royal Soft Grip ( Used For Liquid Foundation)
Studio Beauty 35 Angled Eyeliner & Shading Brush (Only Used Angled Brush for eyeliner)
Sephora Professionnel Small Shadow Brush #15
Sephora Professionnel Smokey Eye #24

Sorry I don't have a close up of what my eyes look like cuz the pixels on my camera suck, it makes it a little bit hard to see.

I'm very proud of myself for what i did. lol I guess watching makeup tutorials helped a lot for me. lol So I would like to thank the ones that I subscribed to on Youtube because they really did a good job in explaining how to put eyeshadows on. If it wasn't for my cousin who told me about makeup tutorials, I probably wouldn't be as good. But I'm still a beginner so I haven't really perfected in putting eyeshadows yet.
